Privacy policy

The short version

This website has no accounts, no forms, no profiling and no third-party analytics scripts. There is nothing here to fill in, so there is nothing for us to keep.

The Eyeit app itself is local-first. Pictures, EXIF, AI prompts and folder bookmarks stay on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded to look at a file.

What stays in your browser

Two preferences: light or dark theme, and the language you picked. The theme lives in your browser’s local storage; the language is a cookie holding nothing but a language code, so the site opens in the right language next time.

Neither is sent anywhere, and we set no tracking cookies.

If that ever changes

If we add something that does collect data — a download counter, a waitlist, a licence server — this page will say so before the form appears, not after.
